      A 55-year-old employee of the private security company "Gard-Region" was injured while on duty in Nizhny Novgorod. This was reported by the State Labor Inspectorate for the region.

      The incident occurred on August 11, 2025, at around 3:05 p.m. The man suddenly became ill, lost consciousness and fell to the floor at the guarded facility. Bystanders promptly called an ambulance.

      Medical personnel took the injured man to hospital. According to doctors, as a result of the fall he sustained multiple head injuries and fractures of the facial bones. The man's condition has been classified as severe.

      As reported by the Chief State Labor Inspector in the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Ilya Moshes, in accordance with labor legislation the State Labor Inspectorate has opened an investigation into the workplace accident. The purpose of the inspection is to establish all the circumstances and causes of what happened.

      Earlier it was reported that a cook sustained chemical burns to the scalp in Nizhny Novgorod.
