      Another 57 kilometers of roads will be repaired in the Nizhny Novgorod region by the end of the year. This was reported on his Telegram channel by the head of the region, Gleb Nikitin.

      According to him, he discussed road construction and repair issues at a meeting with the chairman of the board of the state company "Russian Highways" (Avtodor), Vyacheslav Petushenko.

      "By the end of this year, Avtodor plans to repair another 57 km of roads involved in the construction of the federal highway in the Nizhny Novgorod region," the governor said.

      Gleb Nikitin also noted that it is already possible to speak with confidence about the significant impact of the M-12 highway on the development of the region's southern districts. He emphasized that this motorway has given a strong impetus for growth and transformation of the area.

      Earlier it became known that the Nizhny Novgorod region ranked 68th out of 85 in the ranking of Russian regions by road quality. It was also reported that in 2025 repair work will be carried out on 119 roads in the region.
