      Society. In the Nizhny Novgorod region, interest in searching for new jobs among workers has noticeably increased over the past month, especially in the automotive and transportation sectors, analysts at hh.ru reported.

      According to the platform, over the past 30 days residents of the region updated or posted almost 130,000 resumes. This is 28% more compared with the previous month and indicates rising job-seeker activity ahead of the autumn business season.

      The greatest dynamics were shown by specialists in the automotive sector. Their activity increased by 46%; more than 1,500 people are currently looking for work in this field.

      Workers and employees in the transport and logistics sectors share second place in terms of active job-seekers. Both areas recorded a 40% increase in interest in employment. More than 22,900 workers and about 17,900 logisticians and drivers are seeking work.

      Rounding out the top five are domestic and service staff. Activity in this category grew by 32%, amounting to more than 18,300 people.

      In addition, IT specialists are actively looking for work in the region — there are over 14,700 of them, 25% more than before. Manufacturing professions are also among those in demand: more than 14,300 people updated their resumes, a 16% increase.

      Representatives of the education sector are not far behind. Activity among teachers and tutors increased by 22%, and now almost 4,000 people are looking for work in this area.

      Agriculture was the only professional sector where no growth in the number of job-seekers was recorded. In other industries there is a stable or increased desire to change jobs.
