      As the district Department of Beautification and Road Maintenance said, regular inspections revealed 45 ownerless vehicles at the following addresses: Baumana St., 48 bldg. 2; Gleb Uspensky St., 6 and 8; Lenin Ave., 73 (parking along Lenin Ave.); Baumana St., 175; Lenin Ave., 41 (parking along Lenin Ave.); Lenin Ave., 57 bldg. 1; Admiral Makarov St., 6/3; Perekopskaya St., 10; and others.

      “After discovering an abandoned vehicle we place a notice on the windshield stating that the owner must move the vehicle to a parking lot or garage within 10 days. If they ignore the warning, the vehicle is moved to the temporary storage lot at 3 Delovaya St., with subsequent recovery from the owner of the costs of towing and storage. Of the 45 abandoned cars identified since the beginning of the year, more than 20 were removed by their owners, 10 were towed by us, and work is currently underway on the remaining vehicles,” district administration officials said.
