Society: A resident of Vyksa who took part in the special military operation has paid off a child support debt exceeding one million rubles. This was reported by the Main Directorate of the Federal Bailiff Service for the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
The enforcement proceedings were transferred to the Vyksa District Office of the Federal Bailiff Service from the Arkhangelsk Region after the man relocated. Before that he had no permanent job or stable income, which led to the accumulation of a large debt to his children.
As part of the enforcement proceedings, the bailiff seized funds in the debtor’s accounts, prohibited registration actions involving his property and restricted his right to travel abroad. In addition, the man was held administratively liable for non-payment of alimony and was sentenced to 30 hours of compulsory community service.
However, he did not carry out the compulsory work. Instead, he signed a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defence and went to the special military operation zone.
After returning home wounded, he fully repaid the child support debt and began making current payments for his daughters.
It was previously reported that in 2024 bailiffs recovered more than 1.5 billion rubles from Nizhny Novgorod Region alimony debtors. NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" has a Telegram channel.
