      In 2025, in honor of the 804th anniversary of Nizhny Novgorod, popular Russian performers will perform for the city's residents and guests, the city administration reported.

      Festive concerts (6+) will take place in all districts of the city on August 16. Thus, a concert by the Nizhny Novgorod rock band Uma2rman will be held on the city's main square.

      Singer Iowa will perform in Switzerland Park.

      In the Leninsky district, Stas Piekha will perform in the parking lot by the Muravey shopping center.

      In the Sormovsky district, the duo Filatov & Karas will take the stage on Burevestnik Square.

      In Avtozavodsky Park, Yulianna Karaulova will perform for the audience.

      In the Kanavinsky district, hits by the band Mirage will be played in May 1 Park.

      The Moskovsky district will please Nizhny Novgorod residents with a concert by the band Reflex at the FOK "Yunost".

      All performances will begin at 21:00; admission will be free.

      Reminder: the theme of the celebration this year is "Heroes Among Us". As part of the festivities, special attention will be paid to participants of the special military operation and to veterans. The central events will take place on August 16 at Minin and Pozharsky Square.

      More than 4 million rubles have been allocated to decorate the city for the holiday. A further over 31 million rubles have been directed to organizing the main concert, which will be the culmination of City Day.

      On the day of the celebration, August 16, the sale of alcohol will be banned in Nizhny Novgorod. Traffic restrictions will also be introduced in several districts, including the city center. Changes will also affect public transport routes.

      By the way, there will be no fireworks on City Day.
