      Reconstruction of tram infrastructure continues in Nizhny Novgorod. On Osharskaya Street, on the section between Respublikanskaya and Kuznechikhinskaya Streets, work has begun to replace the tram tracks.

      The old rails have already been dismantled, and workers have begun installing the new track. The project is being implemented in stages and covers the entire stretch of Osharskaya Street — from Belinsky Street to the turning loop in the Lapshikha area.

      Work on this section began on 9 August and is expected to be completed in November. The repair work on Osharskaya Street is planned to be fully completed by the end of the current year.

      As part of the reconstruction, not only a complete replacement of the rails is planned, but also an upgrade of the overhead contact network.

      During the work, vehicle traffic on this section is organized only in the direction toward Belinsky Street.

      It was previously reported that traffic would be restricted in three districts of Nizhny Novgorod due to City Day.
