      The new owner is a well-known entrepreneur and public figure in Nizhny Novgorod. Mosunov developed businesses in various directions and was also involved in investing. He is known to residents of Nizhny Novgorod as the leader of the "For a Clean City" movement; later he was appointed adviser to the city head Elizaveta Solonchenko. Currently the entrepreneur lives in London and is the owner of the American company SMG Capital LLC. "Owning and managing Fabergé — the only Russian historic jewelry house that influenced world culture and the public more than a century ago and still exists today — is a matter of honor and prestige," Mosunov commented.
