A new batch of humanitarian aid from Nizhny Novgorod Oblast has arrived in Kursk Oblast — about 10 tons of essential items. According to the ANO "House of National Unity", the cargo was assembled at the request of the region and included everyday items particularly needed by people staying in temporary accommodation centers.

Not only representatives of regional and local authorities took part in the collection, but also entrepreneurs, businesses, and concerned residents. The coordination center at the House of National Unity, which operates with the support of the regional government, was responsible for organizing the delivery.

According to the head of the coordination center, Tatyana Druzhinina, the cargo has already been delivered. She noted that this time there are especially many essential items that will be useful for people who have left their homes.

"People of Nizhny Novgorod consider it their duty to help those who have found themselves in this difficult situation. We thank everyone who assisted in assembling the cargo. We will continue this work; together we can overcome any hardship," Druzhinina emphasized.

Humanitarian aid has already begun to be distributed to temporary accommodation centers in Kursk Oblast.

Nizhny Novgorod Oblast regularly provides support to border regions. Shipments of humanitarian aid are sent both for military personnel and for civilians.

Earlier it was reported that more than 65 tons of humanitarian aid were sent from Nizhny Novgorod Oblast to fighters in the special military operation.
