      In Nizhny Novgorod in August traffic will be temporarily restricted in several districts of the city. The reason for the closures will be the preparation and holding of events timed to the city's 804th anniversary.

      From August 11 to 20 the circular route on Burevestnik Square will be completely closed to traffic. From August 15 to 17 the closure will also affect the parking area near the "Meteor" monument.

      On the same days, from August 15 to 17, traffic will be restricted on Yubileyny Boulevard — from Ivan Chugurin Street to Komintern Street. It will also be impossible to drive along Engels Street on the section from Burevestnik Square to building No. 7, as well as from the square to substation No. 3527.

      From August 13 until the morning of August 18 the parking lot behind the Muravey shopping center will be closed. Access to it will be impossible from Lieutenant Schmidt Street and Hero Samochkin Street.

      From August 16 until the morning of August 17 traffic will be restricted on Hero Samochkin Street — from building No. 35 on Lenin Avenue to the intersection with Entuziastov Street. The section of Lieutenant Schmidt Street from building No. 1 to the intersection with Hero Samochkin Street will also be closed. Entrance to the parking behind the Muravey shopping center from Lenin Avenue (between buildings No. 31K1 and No. 33) will also be closed.

      From August 15 to 17 it will be impossible to drive through the square by the Yunost Sports Palace and along Yaroshenko Street — from building No. 7 to building No. 3.

      In addition, on August 16 from midnight until 11:30 p.m. the parking at the central entrance to 1 May Park will be closed.

      Detours are possible via adjacent streets. Drivers are asked to remove their vehicles in advance from areas subject to the restrictions. Cars left in closed sections will be towed.

      We remind you that the restrictions will also affect the city center, where the main festive events will be held (0+).
