The results of the new trolleybus route No. 1 in Nizhny Novgorod have been announced.

      Society: The new trolleybus route №1, connecting the "Strelka" metro station and the "Chadayево" platform, shows a steady increase in passenger traffic. As explained by the Transport System Development Center, the route began operation at the start of summer, and within the first two months, it carried about 24,000 passengers. According to Nizhny Novgorod Electric Transport, in June, 7,000 passengers used the service, and in July — over 15,000. Thus, the number of trips more than doubled in a month. The transportation company notes that the route has been particularly popular among residents of nearby districts. It is expected that with the arrival of autumn and the start of the school year, interest in it will increase even further. Experts from the CRTS believe that the route will continue to develop, and the growth in passenger numbers will persist due to the convenience and accessibility of this new route.
