      The new trolleybus route No. 1, launched at the beginning of summer and connecting the "Strelka" metro station with the Chaadaevo railway platform, demonstrates steady growth in popularity among residents. This was reported by the Transport Systems Development Center (TSDC). According to Nizhny Novgorod Electric Transport (NNET), in the first two months of operation, the route carried approximately 24,000 passengers. In June, about 7,000 people used the trolleybus services, and by July, over 15,000. Thus, the passenger traffic more than doubled in just one month. The transport company notes that the route has been particularly popular among residents of neighboring districts. Considering the approaching autumn and the start of the school year, experts predict further growth in interest in this new route.

      Earlier, on pravda-nn.ru, it was reported that the fine for fare evasion in public transport is expected to be increased fivefold.
