Volunteer of the Special Military Operation: "We will definitely win because we are fighting for justice."

      Another group of volunteers has departed for the special military operation (SMO) from a unified recruitment point in Nizhny Novgorod. Inspired by the examples of their compatriots, men from different regions of the country are joining the ranks of the Russian Armed Forces to protect their homeland and loved ones.

      For example, a volunteer from Moscow traveled specifically to the Nizhny Novgorod military recruitment point to sign a contract. Before signing, he completed drone operator courses and military training. He is confident he can help his comrades in the SMO zone and is ready for serious challenges.

      "I believe that in such difficult times, we must defend our native land and loved ones. My family understood my decision, is proud of me, and believes in me. We will definitely achieve victory because we fight for justice and for our people," says the Moscow volunteer.

      The desire to contribute to the common cause and help friends "beyond the line" was a key motivation for the new recruit from Yekaterinburg to join the SMO.

      "I couldn’t just watch my friends fight while I stay behind in the rear. This is a conscious decision for me; I want to prove to myself and to the country that I am capable of a lot and ready to fulfill my military duty. My family supports my choice to serve and is eagerly awaiting victory. Victory will be ours because Russians are strength, and justice is on our side!" asserts the Yekaterinburg resident.

      Volunteers from other regions note that Nizhny Novgorod offers comfortable conditions for signing a contract. The process is streamlined through a one-stop shop, so there’s no need to travel elsewhere.

      It is worth recalling that the state provides worthy material support to defenders of the Motherland and assists their families. Additionally, those who sign contracts and go to the SMO zone receive certificates for 10 hundred plots of land in the Nizhny Novgorod region. The certificate can be redeemed two years after issuance.

      Furthermore, the Nizhny Novgorod region has a mechanism for concluding military social contracts, which additionally guarantees each family 10,000 rubles per month for each child, along with benefits for utilities, preschool services, and other forms of support. Individual family support for servicemen is also provided.
