Fire stations continue to be established in the Nizhny Novgorod region. A new fire station was inaugurated in Dzerzhinsk. The ceremony was attended by the Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Deputy Governor Pyotr Bannikov, Valery Sinkov, Head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod region, officials, personnel of the fire station, and veterans of fire service. "I thank everyone who keeps safety issues at the highest level. I wish Dzerzhinsk to protect and cherish everything created. May you return safely and healthy from your deployments and support the standards of the Dzerzhinsk fire and rescue garrison, which has always been distinguished by resilience, professionalism, and skill! Thank you very much for your teamwork, the city is in good hands," noted Valery Sinkov, Head of the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations. The new Fire Station 41 is equipped with all necessary fire-technical weapons and rescue equipment. The unit's staff consists of 36 personnel. Eleven settlements with a total population of about 40,000 will be protected by firefighters and rescuers. The opening of the depot was part of the Fire Service Development Program approved by the Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Gleb Nikitin, for the period 2024-2035.
