Rospotrebnadzor authorized residents of Nizhny Novgorod to swim in 11 bodies of water.

      The water quality specialists conducted studies.

      Employees of the Rospotrebnadzor Administration for the Nizhny Novgorod Region carried out laboratory research on water quality in water bodies within the swimming zone, as reported by the Administration's press service.

      As of August 1, 2025, swimming is permitted on the beaches of the following lakes:

      Pestichnoye, Dubravny settlement (Sormovsky district);

      Svetloyar, both beaches (Sormovsky district);

      Lunskoye, Kopsovo settlement, Lunskaya street (Sormovsky district);

      Meshchorskoye, Meshchorskaya Boulevard (Kanavinsky district);

      Sortirovochnoye, Berezovaya Roshcha (Kanavinsky district);

      Silikatnoye, both beaches (Leninsky district);

      Permyakovskoye, Permyakov street (Autozavodsky district);

      in the park named “777 Years of N. Novgorod,” Lvovskaya street (Autozavodsky district);

      Park of Culture and Rest (Pirogovo), Smirnova street (Autozavodsky district);

      Park of Culture and Rest (2nd phase), Molodyozhny avenue (Autozavodsky district);

      the first on Shchelokovsky farmstead (Prioksky district).
