Incidents The State Labor Inspection in the Nizhny Novgorod Region has initiated an investigation into the accidents that occurred at the LLC "Pavlovskaya Poultry Farm."
As reported by the head of the agency, Ilya Moshes, the incidents happened on two consecutive days, resulting in seven employees being injured. Most of them sustained corneal burns.
According to Moshes, the employer failed to report the incidents to the supervisory authority, which constitutes a violation of labor laws.
The head of the State Labor Inspection noted that he has taken the situation under personal control. He instructed his staff to clarify all circumstances and determine the causes that led to the injuries.
Additionally, a legal assessment of the employer's actions will be conducted, and if violations are confirmed, the company will be required to take comprehensive measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.
"Of particular concern is the employer’s unwillingness to notify the State Labor Inspection, as well as to conceal the incident," he emphasized.
The investigation is ongoing.
It was previously reported that a 59-year-old employee working in the vegetable and fruit supply industry died at her workplace.
