      Society A new bike lane is being constructed on Lenin Avenue in Nizhny Novgorod, reported Mayor Yuri Shalabaev in his Telegram channel. He noted that work is underway on a section over one kilometer long, from Dargomyzhsky Street to October Revolution Street. In addition to laying the bike lane, the pavement on the sidewalks is also being restored simultaneously. Yuri Shalabaev emphasized that this approach allows for comprehensive improvement of the area. The completion of works is planned for autumn. Currently, the total length of the bike lane network in Nizhny Novgorod exceeds 100 km.

      Recall that in 2024, a closed 17-kilometer bike network was built in the Avtozavodsky district. It was also reported that the ring would be connected to the Leninsky district. The bike lane will run along the entire length of Lenin Avenue from Novikov-Priboy Street to the railway hospital.
