Society "Rostelecom" and "Solar" (a subsidiary of Rostelecom, architect of comprehensive cybersecurity) are integrating products for the digital and financial security of home internet and mobile communication clients into a single service. The comprehensive subscriber protection includes automatic blocking of spam calls, identification of fraudulent incoming calls, a blacklist for unwanted sites, as well as monitoring for personal data leaks and changes in credit history bureau (BKI) data.

The automatic unwanted call blocking service checks all incoming calls and rejects them if the caller's number is found in the spam database. The database is regularly updated based on data from the operator's analytical systems and user reports.

This new service complements the previously launched "Anti-Spam for Calls," which identifies the category of incoming calls and provides subscribers with information about the organization from which the call originates. Together, these services form a reliable mobile communication protection framework against unwanted calls.

Home internet security is provided by a filter for unwanted sites. The service automatically blocks access to phishing and malicious resources. Additionally, subscribers can manually restrict access to adult or potentially dangerous content for all users of the home internet, or create custom filtering categories or a whitelist of permitted sites.

Monitoring services for personal data leaks and notifications of data changes in BKI will inform subscribers if a credit has been taken out in their name or their email address and phone number have been compromised. This allows subscribers to react promptly and prevent further fraudulent activities.

Alexey Demyanenko, Director of Products and Tariffs for the mass segment of Rostelecom:

"The protection of our users and creating comfortable and secure living conditions is a key priority for Rostelecom. Therefore, we not only continually enhance our services' security but also offer new tools so that clients can safeguard themselves and their loved ones. We understand how important it is to feel confident when using new technologies, especially for the most vulnerable categories of citizens, and we will continue doing everything necessary to provide them with reliable support. In the foreseeable future, Rostelecom plans to introduce new services to protect users across all sectors."

Vladimir Bengin, Director of Product Development at Solar Group:

"Together with Rostelecom, we’ve already taken a big step — our data leak verification service has been used over 2.5 million times! This speaks for itself: people want to know their data is secure and actively seek ways to protect themselves. Now, we’re moving forward. We are soon launching a new, more powerful product: it will not only protect against fraudulent sites but also help combat spam, intrusive ads, scam callers, and other digital nuisances. Interest in the service is already high, and we are confident it will be a reliable online assistant for our users."

Blocking unwanted calls and call identification are automated, free, and available to all Rostelecom mobile users. Other security services can be connected independently via the personal account.

More about Rostelecom’s bundle offers can be found on the company’s website or by calling the toll-free number 8 800 100 08 00.
