The Director of the Laboratory Animal Genetic Collections Center at Lobachevsky Nizhny Novgorod State University, Aleksei Babaev, passed away during the night of August 1. This was reported on the university's Telegram channel.
According to colleagues, Babaev constantly worked on self-improvement and inspired others to do the same. He fostered an atmosphere of trust and mutual support, striving to unite the team.
"Thanks to him, our vivarium received a strong impetus for development. Many ideas and projects that have now become reality were born precisely because of his faith in us and our work," they said.
A farewell (0+) to Aleksei Alexandrovich can be held at the crematorium on Zaitseva Street on August 3 from 10:00 to 12:00.
