      In Nizhny Novgorod, funding has been allocated for the construction of an oncology center on Rodionova Street. This was announced by Governor Gleb Nikitin during a speech before regional parliament deputies.

      The new facility will be part of the "City of Health" project. The program will consolidate infrastructure for assisting patients with oncological diseases at the N.A. Semashko Hospital and the Oncology Dispensary.

      “I note that the implementation of the project and the construction of the oncology center are already supported at the federal level, and funding has been allocated,” said Gleb Nikitin.

      In addition, the Nizhny Novgorod region is creating a "Family Quarter" to support reproductive health. Plans also include establishing a Center for Men's and Women's Health and a State Center for Reproductive Technologies (ECO), which will be the first and only in the country.
