The working group of the regional branch of the party inspected the updated cultural institutions, public space, and agricultural enterprise in Sechenovsky district.

      The "Party Detachment" assessed the progress of the implementation of the People's Program of "United Russia" in the region

      The work of the "Party Detachment" continues in the Nizhny Novgorod Region. During an inspection visit, a working group led by State Duma Deputy Yuri Stankevich visited the Sechenovsky municipal district.

      "During such trips, we evaluate not only the current efforts to address pressing issues in municipalities. We look at how a particular district is developing overall. How well the changes align with the objectives set at the federal level. Sechenovsky district is one of the leaders in the Nizhny Novgorod Region. But there are also challenges here. Today, we discussed with local leadership the formation of the budget and work plans for 2026. Additionally, a number of issues voiced by local residents have been placed under party control. As a State Duma deputy, I will resolve the tasks set in dialogue with the regional government," noted Yuri Stankevich, Deputy Chairperson of the State Duma Committee on Energy, and federal coordinator of the "Green Economy" project of the "United Russia" party.

      The visit itinerary included: the I.M. Sechenov Local History Museum, the Sechenovo Central Library, the memorial complex in honor of the Heroes of the Special Military Operation, and the "Progress" agricultural enterprise.

      "All the sites we showed to guests from Nizhny Novgorod today were created or recently renovated and modernized. I want to emphasize that our work is also monitored by the public. Local residents are actively involved in the internal processes. If they notice any shortcomings, they immediately signal us. And we, as local authorities, respond quickly and make corrections. The overall result is evident: our small homeland is becoming more beautiful and comfortable every year," said Evgeny Nabornov, head of the local administration of the Sechenovsky municipal district and secretary of the local branch of the "United Russia" party.

      The I.M. Sechenov Local History Museum became the first site on the "Party Detachment" route. It is an important point on the cultural map of the region and the main attraction of the district. The museum is located on the ancestral estate of the great physiologist Ivan Mikhailovich Sechenov. The exposition originally consisted of one room. Now, the exhibition space totals 115 sq. meters.

      "In 2020, residents of our district voted in the 'You Decide!' project for the improvement of Sechenov Park and the construction of a museum-exhibition complex. Our museum is very popular. Last year, more than 4,000 people visited the exhibition. Today, we shared with guests the local history. Overall, the inspection assessed our work positively, which is very gratifying," said Svetlana Arkhipova, director of the MBUK "Sechenov Local History Museum."

      The next site was the new model library. The modern building was constructed in Sechenovo in 2023 as part of the state program "Comprehensive Development of Rural Territories." The library is equipped with the latest technology and accessible for visitors with disabilities. It serves as a methodological center for 17 rural branch libraries.

      "Our library contains over 30,000 items. We conduct more than 200 mass events annually. The new building is very comfortable and convenient for work. Our readers have access to modern computers and office equipment. The multimedia board, interactive kiosks, video camera, and VR system greatly expand the possibilities for organizing various events in the library. We proudly showed all this to the 'Party Detachment' working group. We received no comments or complaints," commented Elena Taranova, director of the Sechenovo Central Library.

      The visit to the memorial complex in honor of the Heroes of the Special Military Operation continued the delegation’s program. The monument to soldiers was installed in the park. Landscaping of the public area was carried out this year. Work was done to replace sidewalk tiles and install curbstones. Lighting along pedestrian paths was organized. The access road made of asphalt concrete was repaired. Benches, trash bins, fences were installed, and landscaping was done. The complex was officially opened on July 12, 2025.

      The final site inspected in the Sechenovsky municipal district was the "Progress" agricultural enterprise. The organization produces grain and oilseed crops. The products are sold directly. "Progress" is a leading enterprise in its industry and the largest in the district. The farm annually invests significant funds in updating production assets. It is currently completing construction of a new processing complex.

      The "Party Detachment" is an effective tool for promptly responding to residents' requests in the region. One of the key tasks of the project is to monitor the implementation of the People's Program of the "United Russia" party.
