From August 1 to 3, in Crimea at the Tavrida Art Cluster site, over 60,000 participants of the Young Art Festival will gather, including 49 delegates from the Nizhny Novgorod Region. The festival annually attracts thousands of creative people from across the country. The Nizhny Novgorod delegation consists of young professionals in creative industries aged 18 to 35 who will live in themed art districts. During the festival, the Nizhny Novgorod residents will attend cultural and educational programs. "For our creative youth, the festival has been an opportunity for several years to showcase themselves, find like-minded people, and get an impulse for development. The guys are proactive and, in a good way, restless: they will participate in various festival formats, become part of larger events — we will monitor and support them throughout the festival. By the way, the Nizhny Novgorod team will have its own small house — a stand for the Nizhny Novgorod Region, which we will present as part of the 'ART-EXPO' exhibition. We hope that, thanks to the program and the stand's content, guests from different parts of our country will be able to feel the atmosphere of Nizhny Novgorod, touch its history, and become part of our youth culture," said Svetlana Anufrieva, Minister of Youth Policy of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
The "Merch.Energy.Creation" stand will be an interactive space where traditions meet modern trends. The program includes master classes on DJing, playing spoons by a Nizhny Novgorod spoon player, and creating keychains with nesting dolls featuring Gorchitsa and Khokhloma painting elements. Guests will also have the opportunity to co-author a track created from sounds of "Tavrida." At the stand, visitors will see numerous exhibits: from products of Nizhny Novgorod crafts represented alongside the regional Hospitality Agency to products of the "Nizhny 800" brand. Additionally, the Nizhny Novgorod Region will present a fashion show of merch collections by local brands such as "MolodyozhNO," "Rodina," and KZD on the "ART-EXPO" stage.
Note: The "Tavrida.ART" Festival is the largest platform in Russia for the self-realization of young culture, arts, and creative industries figures. In 2025, the main theme will focus on the cultural diversity of our country's peoples. Colorful traditions and rich heritage will be presented in a modern interpretation, supporting family values and unity.
