      In Zubanikha village, Dalnekonstantinovsky district, an accident occurred at the "Yantarny" resort base pond. A teenager went missing while riding a catamaran. This information was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      A group of children without life jackets was relaxing on the water, and a 14-year-old boy decided to swim to the shore alone, but after that, he was no longer seen. Medics and police arrived at the scene immediately; however, the rescuers and divers were not visible for a long time, even though the incident happened around 14:30. Witnesses stated that no search efforts had begun until their departure.

      Later, employees of the search and rescue unit of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, with the help of a diving team, managed to retrieve the boy's body from the water, who was 14 years old at the time of the incident. The body was handed over to police officers for further investigation.
