The movement of ships through the Gorodetsky hydropower plant has been restored ahead of schedule. This was reported on the official Telegram channel of the Federal Agency for Maritime and River Transport (RosRechMorFlot).

The first lock operation after the resumption of work took place on the evening of July 26 — a tugboat RT-332, owned by Belflot, passed through the hydropower plant.

Eight cruise ships are scheduled to pass through on Sunday, July 27.

Additionally, 63 cargo ships are expected to pass through the hydropower plant in the near future. Their movement will be carried out in accordance with the approved schedule.

Recall that the accident at the Gorodetsky hydropower plant occurred on July 22. An head covering collapsed between locks No. 15 and No. 16, causing the construction area of lock 15A to flood.
