      On Sunday, July 27, a strong magnetic storm will reach Nizhny Novgorod. This was reported by the Solar Astronomy Laboratory (IKI RAN and ISZF SO RAN).

      The cause will be a solar mass ejection that occurred on Wednesday, July 23.

      According to scientists’ calculations, the plasma cloud will reach our planet around 9 a.m. Moscow time. The geomagnetic impact will range from mild to moderate.

      The probability of a magnetic storm on Sunday is about 60%.

      The most noticeable peak in activity is expected in the middle of the day. By Monday, the situation will be fully stabilized.

      Medics advise meteorologically sensitive people to carefully monitor their well-being, especially during periods of geomagnetic instability. On such days, it is recommended to avoid overexertion and emotional overloads to minimize possible negative health effects.

      It was previously reported that residents of Nizhny Novgorod encounter approximately 2,250 geomagnetic storms throughout their lives.
