      Agricultural enterprises in the Nizhny Novgorod region continue to increase milk and egg production. According to Nizhny Novgorod Stat, in the first half of 2025, 310,000 tons of milk were produced in the region — a 4% increase compared to the same period last year.

      The largest producers of milk are farms in the Buturlinsky, Dalnekonstantinovsky, Pilninsky, and Pochinkovsky districts.

      The average yield per cow increased by 200 kilograms and reached 4,320 kg. Egg production also grew by 5% and totaled 577 million units. The poultry population increased by 6%, reaching 10 million birds.
