The number of voters in the Nizhny Novgorod region has exceeded 2.4 million people.

      Society: Nizhny Novgorod Election Commission published data on the number of voters as of July 1, 2025. The voter and referendum participant counts are recorded twice a year — on January 1 and July 1.

      According to official data from the State Automated System "Elections," there are 2,462,755 registered voters in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      The highest number of voters resides in Nizhny Novgorod itself, with 1,087,795 registered residents.

      Among the districts of Nizhny Novgorod, the Autazavodsky District leads — with 227,415 voters. The second largest district by population is Sormovsky, with 127,661 registered citizens.

      The city of Dzerzhinsk ranks second among the region’s cities by the number of voters, with 178,088 registered residents.

      It was previously reported that six parties would be able to participate in the elections in the Nizhny Novgorod region without collecting signatures.
