The in-person stage of the interregional young bloggers' laboratory "Focus on Culture" has begun in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      The in-person stage of the interregional young bloggers laboratory "Focus on Culture" has started in the Nizhny Novgorod region. Six teams from the Nizhny Novgorod, Ivanovo, Yaroslavl, Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk regions, and Perm Krai are participating in the educational project. The project is implemented with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives, as well as the Ministry of Culture of the Nizhny Novgorod region and the cultural ministries of the participating regions. "The launch of the 'Focus on Culture' interregional young bloggers laboratory— a project developed with colleagues back when we studied at the Higher School of Management in the field of culture. We decided to gather young people from different regions of our country— those who love culture and history, are genuinely passionate about studying their native land, and dream of sharing these with their peers. But not just gather, also provide the opportunity to gain media knowledge from leading specialists and apply it in practice. Ahead of them is an intensive week of theory, familiarization with our cultural institutions, followed by a blog tour across the Nizhny Novgorod, Ivanovo, and Yaroslavl regions. The finale will see participants reconvene in Nizhny Novgorod to present their projects," said Natalia Sukhanova, Minister of Culture of the Nizhny Novgorod region. The in-person stage involves 36 novice bloggers aged 16 to 24. During the week from July 21 to 27, they will enhance their skills with theoretical sessions with top Russian media experts who will share relevant knowledge and practical skills. The practical phase takes place at the Nizhny Novgorod School of Creative Industries, based at the Nizhny Novgorod Music College named after M. A. Balakirev. Here, masterclasses are held by leading specialists in culture and art history, and a well-known Russian blogger is scheduled to speak. The "Focus on Culture" blogger school program also includes an introduction to modern communication technologies and the production of high-quality digital content. Besides lectures and practical classes, participants have already visited the Nizhny Novgorod Television Center and the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin. The culmination of the program will be a blog tour through the territories of three federal subjects—Nizhny Novgorod, Ivanovo, and Yaroslavl regions—with a final presentation of their works in Nizhny Novgorod. The cultural project "Focus on Culture" will continue until July 2026, during which participants will create their own content aimed at promoting their native regions, applying the knowledge gained during the educational intensive.
