Anyone can become a volunteer!

      The project of the non-profit organization "Neighbor Center Kstovchane" has become the winner of the 2024 Social and Cultural Projects Competition organized by PJSC "LUKOIL." With the company's support, the Silver Volunteers Academy "Timurovtsy XXI Century" was established in Kstovo, Nizhny Novgorod Region. The goal of the project is to engage older adults in volunteer activities through theoretical knowledge and practical skills in this area. Silver volunteers attended training seminars, shared experiences with other community organizations, and participated in a marathon of master classes under the motto "If you can do it yourself—teach others."

      "In total, eight events were organized as part of the project, aimed at motivating older adults to volunteer. We want to say that age is not a barrier to doing good! During the implementation of the project, 32 people were trained in the basics of volunteering, exceeding the initial plan of 25. This area proved to be highly in demand, so we do not plan to stop.
