An additional educational course of the Higher Party School has been launched in Nizhny Novgorod for participants of the SVO.

      Politics The Higher Party School of "United Russia" pays special attention to educational programs for participants in the special military operation (SMO). An enrollment was conducted upon veterans' requests for a group to undergo an additional course. Participants from the regional "Time of Heroes" program qualifying stage have been invited to attend classes.

      "Involving SMO participants in peaceful life and their socialization is a very important task for our party. The additional educational module launched at the party school directly contributes to this. The course aims to engage participants in political activities. It covers topics such as the responsibilities of an assistant to a deputy, how to build work on social media, and much more. Fortunately, the strong base of teachers and experts allows us to cover the broadest range of topics and disciplines," said Dmitry Filipenko, head of the regional executive committee of the Nizhny Novgorod branch of "United Russia."

      Future listeners were involved in shaping the course content. During the introductory meeting, they discussed the goals and objectives set by veterans of the special operation.

      "The program is based on developing a personal development trajectory for each student. Factors considered include education, professional experience, and how the veteran envisions themselves in the near future. Of course, no education guarantees 100%. But many school graduates build successful careers," explained Innа Vankina, deputy of the Nizhny Novgorod City Duma.

      Seven people joined the group. According to participants' feedback, the dialogue was productive: they found common ground and understood how the training would be structured.

      "Right now, it's difficult to determine which of the presented opportunities are most relevant to me. There's a lot of information and directions. It will take time to form an understanding. But it's already clear that the course will be useful," noted one of the SMO veterans participating in the Higher Party School educational course.
