With the support of "United Russia," the national "Man of Labor" award has begun.

      "An economic breakthrough is impossible without systematic work with personnel. Increasing youth engagement in skilled trades, restoring respect for real work 'at the machine' — one of the challenges of our time and a priority for 'United Russia.' The goal of the 'Worker of Labor' award is to establish a new standard of value for skilled professions. We will recognize the best, support mentors and labor dynasties. It is important that the work of workers, engineers, and agricultural workers becomes a synonym for personal success and a guarantee of the country’s technological sovereignty," — commented Vladimir Yakushev, Secretary of the General Council.

      Applications can be submitted for six categories:

      **'Technological Leader'** — for candidates who have implemented innovative technologies, increased production efficiency, or developed new products and solutions.

      **'Best Mentor'** — for candidates who have made significant contributions to the professional development of young specialists, transferred experience and knowledge, and contributed to the development of human resources.

      **'Young Specialist'** — for candidates classified as young workers (aged 18 to 35), who have achieved notable success in their professional activities, demonstrated initiative, and a desire for professional growth.

      **'Family Labor Dynasties'** — for candidates from families where at least three generations have worked in the same profession, or where the total work experience of all family members in one profession or at one enterprise is at least 50 years.

      **'Veterans Council'** — for candidates who are leaders or representatives of organizations for honored workers of enterprises, who have made significant contributions to preserving labor traditions and accumulating experience.

      **'Labor Patriotic Education'** — for candidates who are leaders or representatives of organizations with many years of successful experience in patriotic labor education of youth, cultivating citizens for whom love for the Motherland is expressed not only in words but also in actions: a willingness and need to work for the public good, careful attitude toward national wealth, and personal contribution to the development of the country.

      "The 'Worker of Labor' award is particularly relevant for the Nizhny Novgorod region. Our region is one of Russia’s most important industrial centers, hosting the majority of key sectors of the national economy. Engaging youth and developing interest among the new generation in skilled trades is a task that determines the future of our country. I invite young workers to participate in the regional stage," said Ivan Razuvaev, regional coordinator of the 'Choose Your' partnership project.

      The award ceremony for the winners of the regional stage of the 'Worker of Labor' will take place on August 27 at the XII International Forum on Technological Development, TECHNOPROM-2025.
