Incidents Three children were injured in a traffic accident in Balakhna. The information was provided by the Nizhny Novgorod GIBDD.
The accident occurred around 03:47 on July 17 in Nesterova Lane, near house No. 22.
According to preliminary data, a 36-year-old woman, driving a Geely car, presumably fell asleep while driving. The car veered into the oncoming lane, where it collided with a Howo truck.
As a result of the accident, the Geely driver and three young passengers were injured: a four-year-old boy and girl, as well as an eight-year-old girl. The boy was hospitalized.
GIBDD officers are continuing to investigate all details of the incident.
It was previously reported that a tanker driver died behind the wheel in the Shatkovsky municipal district.
