Society: Nizhny Novgorod residents submitted over 3,000 applications to participate in training programs for new professions as part of the national project "Kadr" in the first half of 2025. One-third of applicants have already completed their training.

"Starting from 2025, employment and labor issues are addressed by the new national project 'Kadr.' It helps coordinate efforts among educational institutions, companies, and the government. In total, more than 70 training programs for new professions are available in the region. Nizhny Novgorod residents most often choose directions related to digital technologies, caregiving, and skilled trades," said Yegor Polyakov, Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

Among the most popular areas are "Neural networks and artificial intelligence for solving applied organizational tasks," "Information security in an organization," "1C Programmer," "Care Assistant," "Tour Guide," and "Seamstress."

"The 'Kadr' national project is a real opportunity for regional residents to acquire new professional competencies that are in demand in the labor market. It is especially encouraging to see interest in digital fields such as artificial intelligence and programming. This shows that Nizhny Novgorod residents are ready to master the professions of the future. We observe high activity from citizens and plan to expand the list of available programs," noted Igor Pantyukhin, head of the labor and employment department of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

Applications for free training can be submitted on the "Rabota Rossii" portal: https://trudvsem.ru.

"This support measure is provided to mothers on maternity leave, youth under 35, the unemployed, pre-retirees and retirees, people with disabilities, participants in the SVO (Special Operation), their families, and other categories of citizens," explained Lyudmila Egorova, director of the Nizhny Novgorod Staffing Center "Rabota Rossii."

Specialists from the Nizhny Novgorod Staffing Center "Rabota Rossii" can provide additional information via the hotline: 8 (800) 250-47-47 or through the official social media group: https://vk.com/trudnnov.

Recall that in 2025, Russia launched the "Kadr" national project by presidential order from Vladimir Putin. It includes four federal projects: "Labor Market Management," "Active Employment Measures," "Education for the Labor Market," and "People of Labor." The initiative aims to efficiently train personnel to meet employer needs through coordinated efforts of educational institutions, companies, and the government.
