      EconomyExperts from the Regional Competence Center (RCC), together with employees of LLC "InvestAuto" from Nizhny Novgorod, summarized the results of implementing the federal project "Labor Productivity" at the enterprise.

      The company specializes in re-equipping machines of various brands into special-purpose vehicles and manufactures components for special equipment. The chosen pilot process was the re-equipment of all-metal vans. Their sales share accounts for 47% of the company's total revenue.

      "RCC specialists worked on the LLC 'InvestAuto' site for six months. They implemented an automated system for generating sheets, organized a system for storing components, and reduced unnecessary employee movements. These measures collectively increased productivity by 19 percent," said Maxim Cherkassov, Minister of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      Additionally, RCC experts trained 20 employees in lean technologies and prepared two internal trainers who will be able to independently train their colleagues in the future.

      Currently, 29 auto component manufacturers in the Nizhny Novgorod Region are implementing tools from the federal project "Labor Productivity."

      According to the Russian Ministry of Economic Development, the national project “Effective and Competitive Economy,” initiated by President Vladimir Putin, will become the main tool for forming a new growth model. It includes federal projects aimed at developing small and medium-sized enterprises, increasing labor productivity, boosting investment activity, promoting low-carbon development, and developing the state statistical and forecasting systems.
