39 roads to social facilities will be repaired in 2025 in the Nizhny Novgorod region under the national project "Infrastructure for Life."

      In 2025, the Nizhny Novgorod Region plans to repair 39 sections of roads leading to social facilities. The work is carried out as part of the national project "Infrastructure for Life." This was reported by the Main Directorate of Automotive Roads of the region.

      "Every year, when forming the repair plans, we pay special attention to roads that serve social institutions. These include hospitals and outpatient clinics, kindergartens and schools, sports facilities. Their total length this year is almost 250 km. The cost of the state contracts exceeds 5 billion rubles. Repair work on ten of these sections has already been completed," said Leonid Samukhin, director of the State Autonomous Institution of the Nizhny Novgorod Region "GUAD."

      The work is being carried out in 28 municipalities. The largest volume is planned in the urban district of Arzamas, where four roads totaling over 42 km will be brought to standard condition. The shortest section is in Bor, which is the road to the F.I. Shalyapin Children's School of Arts.

      Last year, the region repaired 16 sections of roads leading to social facilities, totaling over 85 km.

      Road repairs in the Nizhny Novgorod Region are part of the national project "Infrastructure for Life," initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin to ensure citizens have access to modern infrastructure. The national project comprises 11 federal initiatives, which are partly a continuation of previously implemented national projects "Safe and High-Quality Roads," "Housing and Urban Environment," and other government programs of the Russian Federation. These aim to develop road construction, utilities, road safety, and the development of public passenger transport.
