Economy Over 40 negotiations were conducted by Nizhny Novgorod entrepreneurs at the international industrial exhibition "Innoprom-2025," held from July 7 to 10 in Yekaterinburg. The regional delegation was led by the Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Andrey Sanosyan. The delegation also included the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Entrepreneurship of the region, Maxim Cherkasov, representatives of the Nizhny Novgorod Development Corporation and the Industry and Entrepreneurship Development Corporation, the Export Support Center, the Regional Industry Development Fund, the Scientific and Production Center for Unmanned Aerial Systems, and seven industrial enterprises.

"We actively assist companies in establishing strong business contacts, including internationally. At 'Innoprom-2025,' representatives of Nizhny Novgorod enterprises discussed cooperation options with companies from China, Belarus, and Saudi Arabia, held negotiations with heads of departments of major Russian industrial enterprises, and participated in an event dedicated to unmanned aerial vehicles," said Andrey Sanosyan.
The Deputy Governor presented at the session "Where to locate production. Opportunities of industrial parks and SEZs in Russia" the industrial infrastructure of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, including industrial parks and technoparks as well as the special economic zone "Kulikbin."
Maxim Cherkasov delivered a report at the expert session "Children's Goods Industry 2.0." Currently, the Children's Goods Industry cluster in Nizhny Novgorod includes 90 companies.
"The Nizhny Novgorod Region places great emphasis on developing the children's goods industry. The region already has successful tools in place and has ideas we plan to implement. In the specialized session, I shared our experience and proposed scaling up existing regional support measures, such as supporting local industrial enterprises through demographic programs, exemplified by the 'Gift for Newborn' program," said Maxim Cherkasov.
As part of the "Gift for Newborn" program, all women in Nizhny Novgorod who give birth after July 1, 2025, receive a certificate worth 20,000 rubles, which can be used to select goods from Nizhny Novgorod manufacturers on a marketplace.
The minister also proposed developing new federal-level measures to support children's goods manufacturers, especially those creating highly automated production facilities.
Additionally, at "Innoprom-2025," an award ceremony for the "Young Industrialist of the Year" was held. The winner in the special "Perspectives of the Year" nomination was Nadezhda Averina, director of LLC "First Weaving Factory" (a high-tech, import-substituting full-cycle textile production).
During the exhibition, the Industry and Entrepreneurship Development Corporation of the Nizhny Novgorod Region signed an agreement with the Sverdlovsk Support for Entrepreneurship Development Fund. The signatures were provided by the Director of the Nizhny Novgorod Industry and Entrepreneurship Development Corporation, Ivan Razuvaev, and the Director of the Sverdlovsk Entrepreneurship Support Fund, Valery Pilechev. The agreement will enable coordination between Sverdlovsk and Nizhny Novgorod regions in entrepreneurship development. Joint training events, business meetings, and business missions are planned.
It is worth noting that the Nizhny Novgorod Region ranked second in the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia's efficiency rating of regional industrial policies in 2024. The ranking winners were awarded by the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Anton Alikhanov, during "Innoprom-2025" in Yekaterinburg.
