Mikhail Klinkov checked the progress of work at the Dzerzhinskaya CHPP.

      The head of Dzerzhinsk, Mikhail Klinkov, reported in his MAX channel that he visited the Dzerzhinsk CHPP, where he discussed preparations for the upcoming heating season. The total investment in repairs and technical re-equipment this year amounted to 423 million rubles. At the station, energy specialists conducted a major overhaul of boiler unit No. 1 and smoke stack No. 4, and extended the operational resource of boiler No. 8. Klinkov noted that special attention was given to turbo unit No. 5: circulation pipelines were modernized, as it, along with unit No. 4, bears the main load for heating the city in winter. In the summer, specialists checked 3,310 sections of the heating networks under increased pressure, replacing 13.6 km of heating and hot water pipelines. Among the key projects is the reconstruction of the pavilion on Popova Street: new shut-off valves with a diameter of up to 1000 mm were installed, with the capability of online data transmission to the dispatching panel. Equipment was updated in four central heating points (CHPs). As of today, all 38 CHPs are fully ready for operation in winter. "This year, the enterprise celebrates its anniversary - 65 years since the commissioning of the first power unit. Over these years, the CHPP has come a long way of development and has become the energy shield of Dzerzhinsk. Today, 317 highly qualified energy specialists work at the Dzerzhinsk CHPP. I thank the employees of the enterprise for their professional work in preparing the city for winter," emphasized Klinkov.
