      On August 29, 2026, at 13:57 Culture and Leisure, "Merchant I.S. Belousov's House" in Arzamas has been included in the list of identified cultural heritage sites. The corresponding order from the State Protection of Cultural Heritage Management has been published on the legal acts portal.

      This refers to a historical building constructed between 1868 and 1870, located at: Arzamas, Lenin Street, 18.

      "Merchant I.S. Belousov's House" is associated with the Arzamas merchant and philanthropist Ivan Stepanovich Belousov. He donated funds for the establishment of a Public House for the care of poor orphaned children in Arzamas.

      It was previously reported that three buildings of the Kolchin-Kurbatov factory in Nizhny Novgorod have been recognized as cultural heritage sites.
