The fertilizer manufacturer in Bor was fined for environmental violations.

      On August 28, 2026, at 14:59, the Society reported that Rosprirodnadzor identified environmental violations at the fertilizer manufacturer LLC "Volzhsky Biokhim" in the Bor district. This was reported by the regional office of the agency.

      Previously, an unscheduled inspection was conducted at the enterprise. As explained by the agency, such measures are organized for natural resource users who did not submit an application for a comprehensive environmental permit within the established timeframe. Companies and individual entrepreneurs operating facilities of the I category with a negative impact on the environment were supposed to do this by the end of 2024.

      Nevertheless, some organizations did not comply with these requirements. In the Nizhny Novgorod region, 13 enterprises currently lack a comprehensive environmental permit. Among them is LLC "Volzhsky Biokhim."

      During the inspection, inspectors found that the company also lacks waste generation standards and limits for their disposal. Moreover, they are stored on a site not designated for these purposes.

      The enterprise has also not developed standards for maximum allowable emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere. Violations were recorded during the inventory of stationary emission sources.

      In addition, the state register of facilities that have a negative impact on the environment contains inaccurate information about the company. Specific remarks concern the accounting and implementation of measures to reduce emissions during periods of unfavorable meteorological conditions.

      As a result of the inspection, LLC "Volzhsky Biokhim" was held administratively liable. The enterprise was fined and issued an order to eliminate the identified violations.
