Lessons of courage with participants of the Special Military Operation took place in Nizhny Novgorod schools on September 1.

      September 1, 2026 16:50 Society In the Nizhny Novgorod region, on Knowledge Day, Victory volunteers held courage lessons as part of the "Heroes of the Motherland" project. More than two thousand schoolchildren and students participated in the events. One of the venues was the Nizhny Novgorod Polytechnic College named after Hero of the Soviet Union V.I. Rudnev. A veteran of the special military operation, graduate of the educational program "Heroes. Nizhny Novgorod Region" Vladislav Dalekin, participated in the solemn line dedicated to the beginning of the new academic year. After the solemn line, a courage lesson took place, during which the veteran of the special military operation shared his life and combat path with the students, shared personal experiences, and answered questions. "Such meetings give the younger generation the opportunity to hear about important events not from books, but from a person who has gone through serious trials himself. For me, it is important to share my experience with students, to talk to them about camaraderie, responsibility, and how important it is to remain true to one's principles," noted Vladislav Dalekin. The "Heroes of the Motherland" project has been implemented in the Nizhny Novgorod region for the second year.
