Traffic will be restricted on Maslyakova Street in Nizhny Novgorod due to major repairs.

      On August 29, 2026, at 10:31 AM, Society In Nizhny Novgorod, a major road repair has begun on Maslyakova Street from Maxim Gorky Square to Ilyinskaya Street. As reported by the MKU "GUMMiD," a capital repair and reconstruction of the road will be conducted, expanding it to three to four lanes. This is expected to improve the traffic flow in the area of Gorky Square. Sidewalks and lighting will also be replaced on the street. Due to the work, traffic on the section of Maslyakova Street from Maxim Gorky Square to Ilyinskaya Street will be temporarily restricted from 7:00 PM on August 31 to 11:59 PM on October 1. Drivers are advised to familiarize themselves with the traffic scheme in advance and choose a detour route. Motorists are also asked to be attentive and comply with road signs. Earlier, AO "OKO" replaced 206 meters of heating mains and updated 210 meters of water pipelines in this section, including the pipeline to kindergarten No. 31 at 8 Maslyakova Street.
