A traveling dog from Bolshoye Kozino is looking for new owners.

      On August 28, 2026, at 10:00 AM, Society In Nizhny Novgorod, a new home is being sought for a dog named Belyash, known to many residents as an unusual four-legged passenger of public transport. The dog was named Belyash at the shelter. However, discussions about him began back in 2024. It became known that the spotted dog had come to the city from the village of Bolshoye Kozino in the Balakhna district. Despite his independent travels, he used to return home. Over time, Belyash was increasingly spotted in transport: first on a bus on Aktyubinskaya Street, then in the metro on the route from "Avtozavodskaya" station to "Gorkovskaya," and later on tram No. 417. According to volunteers from the "Compassion NN" shelter, the previous owners abandoned the dog. After that, it was decided to take Belyash to the shelter to ensure his safety and begin the search for a new family.
