"The puppeteer" Moskvin was allowed visits with his fiancée in the psychiatric hospital.
On August 17, 2026, at 09:16, incidents reported that 59-year-old necropolis worker Anatoly Moskvin, who is undergoing compulsory treatment at a psychiatric hospital in Nizhny Novgorod, has been granted visits with his 39-year-old girlfriend Alexandra. This was reported by the MAX channel SHOT.
According to the publication, Alexandra has visited him several times. After one of the meetings, Moskvin told hospital staff that the woman is claiming his three-room apartment in Nizhny Novgorod. The apartment was inherited from his mother, who passed away from cancer a few months ago.
Recall that in 2011, Moskvin was detained after more than 20 mummified bodies of teenagers were found in this apartment and in a garage. In 2012, he was declared insane and sent for compulsory treatment. Since then, he has been in a hospital.
As SHOT discovered, Alexandra has been living in London for several years but occasionally comes to Russia. Recently, she has taken up making unusual dolls without arms and legs. The woman continues to visit cemeteries, as she did before with Moskvin prior to his arrest. The couple has been together for many years.
In the fall of 2025, media reported on the possible discharge of Moskvin; however, specialists explained that only the court makes that decision. In July 2026, the "doll maker" was kept in the psychiatric hospital for another six months—until the end of January 2027.
In one of the video interviews, Moskvin also mentioned that he might be transferred to a boarding school. Additionally, he stated that he is writing memoirs about his love for girls.
