According to the court's version, in 2023, a man and a woman, who managed two companies, organized the shipment of coniferous timber abroad by railway. During customs clearance, electronic declarations were submitted with false information about the source of the goods. The value of the illegally transported timber exceeded 2 million rubles. The court, taking into account the position of the state prosecutor from the Volga Transport Prosecutor's Office, sentenced each of the defendants to 6 years of conditional imprisonment.
