The forum "Territory of Rhythm" has started in "Seneg."

      On August 14, the Management Workshop "Senezh" of the presidential platform "Russia - a country of opportunities" launched the anniversary Nizhny Novgorod forum "Territory of Rhythm - a Decade of Leadership." Over the past 10 years, the project has grown from a regional initiative into an international forum that develops practical solutions for the social sphere. This year, around 300 participants from 64 regions of Russia, as well as Abkhazia and Belarus, are taking part. Over four days, participants will work on solutions to pressing social issues. The outcome will be a package of initiatives for integration into the federal agenda.

      The forum includes authors of social projects, representatives of NGOs and businesses, parents of children with disabilities, specialists working with people with disabilities, representatives of government and local self-government, as well as participants of the Special Military Operation (SMO). Among the participants is Olga Lodneva, a resident of Gorodets in the Nizhny Novgorod region. She runs the intellectual development studio "Vershina," which provides paid and charitable services for typically developing children and children with disabilities. After an injury sustained in an accident, she moves in a wheelchair.

      International participation this year includes Ruslana Gerdedava from Sukhum, Republic of Abkhazia. She heads the Association of Inclusive Tourism of the Republic of Abkhazia and is developing the project "Accessible Country of the Soul" to expand accessible tourism. The initiative was presented at the "Team of Abkhazia" management competition, approved by the head of the republic, and received support. The project also won the Presidential Grants Fund of Russia. Additionally, Ruslana Gerdedava is a graduate of the educational track "Woman Leader" at the Management Workshop "Senezh."

      On the first day of the forum, a panel discussion took place with representatives of the presidential platform "Russia - a country of opportunities," the Presidential Grants Fund, the State University of Management, and government bodies. The work of teams on the forum's areas also began.

      The forum's work is organized around five areas: development of NGOs and social entrepreneurship; reintegration of SMO participants; people's diplomacy and twinning; inclusive education; and involving young people with disabilities in the economy. Each area has an ambassador and a mentor expert assigned to it.

      On August 15-16, teams will move from analyzing issues and initial hypotheses to developing specific initiatives. The finale will be the presentation of initiatives to an expert jury. The best solutions will receive support for further scaling.

      The forum is organized by the government of the Nizhny Novgorod region, the presidential platform "Russia - a country of opportunities," the Center for Social Sphere Innovations of the Nizhny Novgorod region, the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "Project Office for the Development Strategy of the Nizhny Novgorod Region," and the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Public Organization of Disabled People "Ark." The forum is supported by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives and the Presidential Grants Fund.
