On August 14, 2026, at 10:49, Society The director of the municipal unitary enterprise "Express" in Dzerzhinsk was reprimanded. This was reported in his Max channel by the head of the city, Mikhail Klinkov, following a meeting with the company's staff. According to the mayor, the situation at the enterprise remains difficult; however, it still holds strategic importance for the development of Dzerzhinsk.

Recall that since July 1, the servicing of 11 city routes - No. 1, 5, 8, 8a, 15, 22, 23, 33, 205, 206, and 213 - has transitioned from the municipal unitary enterprise "Express" to the private carrier LLC "Capital Auto." The company became the sole participant in the competition for the right to organize transportation. Residents of Dzerzhinsk expressed concerns that the new carrier would not be able to provide the necessary number of buses, and the municipal enterprise, after losing most of its routes, would find itself in a difficult position and could go bankrupt.

Later, it became known that, at the request of the residents of Dzerzhinsk, three new routes would be organized, which will be serviced by the municipal unitary enterprise "Express." At the beginning of the week, it was reported that drivers of the municipal carrier demanded a meeting with the city authorities and stated their readiness to declare a strike. They expressed dissatisfaction with the transition to a four-day workweek and salary cuts.

At the initiative of the chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Evgeny Lyulin, a meeting was held to discuss stabilizing the enterprise's operations. According to Klinkov, they did not receive a clear answer from the director of the municipal unitary enterprise "Express" regarding why the enterprise did not participate in the competition for organizing city transportation. In this regard, he was reprimanded.

The mayor also reported that the Audit Chamber of Dzerzhinsk has been conducting an audit of the financial and economic activities of the enterprise for the past three weeks. In the near future, he added, an extensive audit will be conducted. Klinkov stated that the conversation with the employees was constructive and honest. According to him, the staff voiced a number of proposals, on which decisions will be made.

"People justly expressed dissatisfaction regarding the transition to a four-day workweek and the reduction of wages. We will address these issues," noted Mikhail Klinkov.

He also emphasized that there is significant joint work ahead with the Ministry of Transport of the Nizhny Novgorod region. It will be necessary to build a financial model for the enterprise's operations and prepare a plan to exit the crisis. All proposals received from the employees will be taken into account. Among the first conclusions after all meetings, Klinkov mentioned the need for the enterprise to participate in all tenders and competitions. In addition, an internal audit of production processes will be conducted at the enterprise. According to the mayor, decisions regarding the management of the municipal unitary enterprise "Express" have already been made, and the main task now is to preserve the team and ensure the stable operation of the enterprise.
