A glamping park worth 50 million rubles is planned to be built in Bor.
On August 13, 2026, at 19:00, Economy. A glamping park worth 50 million rubles is planned to be built in Bor. This became known at a meeting of the council on land and property relations under the government of the Nizhny Novgorod region, reports NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" correspondent.
The application for the lease of a plot of land measuring 40,615.1 square meters was submitted by LLC "PROINVEST". The project involves the creation of a glamping park consisting of 25 two-story structures. It is planned to be built on the left bank of the Volga River, one kilometer southeast of the Volga railway bridge.
The company plans to install prefabricated structures of factory production, including container-type ones, as well as other non-capital facilities for recreation, sports, food, and entertainment for tourists.
During the discussion, it became clear that part of the requested territory is in federal ownership. Another plot was previously leased to another company, but there is currently a court dispute regarding the termination of this contract.
It was also noted that the current type of permitted use of the land plot does not allow for the placement of tourist facilities. To implement the project, changes will need to be made to the land use and development regulations.
As a result, the council decided to support the initiative on the condition that it receives approval from the land use and development commission.
Earlier, it was reported that a year-round glamping site would be built in the Zaton area named after the 25th anniversary of October in Nizhny Novgorod.
