Drivers of MUP "Express" threaten to announce a strike in Dzerzhinsk.

Earlier, the drivers of the municipal carrier demanded a meeting with the city authorities and expressed their readiness to declare a strike. A video of their appeal appeared on social media. The situation is related to changes in public transport operations. In July, the municipal enterprise "Express" lost 11 city routes. Their servicing was transferred to the private company "Stolica Avto", which became the sole participant in the bidding. The municipal enterprise did not submit an application to participate. The changes caused dissatisfaction among the drivers of "Express". They demanded to organize a meeting with representatives of the Dzerzhinsk administration, stating that otherwise they were ready to start a strike. The day before, the head of the city of chemists, Mikhail Klinkov, reported that he would personally meet with the employees of the enterprise in the near future. "I see that people have questions that the management of the enterprise does not answer. Therefore, I will clarify the situation myself," Klinkov wrote on "VKontakte". The situation surrounding the carrier also raises concerns among the deputies of the city duma. They are worried whether the private carrier will be able to provide proper servicing of the received routes and whether the loss of a significant part of the route network will lead to the bankruptcy of the municipal enterprise.
