Violations were detected on the under-construction bypass of Gagarin Avenue in Nizhny Novgorod.

      On August 10, 2026, 13:31 Society The Main Department of Highways identified violations during a scheduled inspection of the construction of the duplicate of Gagarin Avenue in Nizhny Novgorod. This is stated in the act posted on the website of the Ministry of Economic Development and Investments of the region. The inspection took place on August 3, 2026, as part of the control over the execution of the concession agreement. Specialists collected samples of the pavement for laboratory tests and conducted a tour of the construction site. As a result of the core analysis, a deviation from the GOST requirements for the air void content in the upper layer of the pavement was recorded at section PK 65+40. In addition, during the inspection, the absence of stakeout, construction debris, and waste along the entire length of the site, as well as chips on the curb stone, were identified. The concessionaire, LLC "Concession Construction Company No. 11," was issued a directive to eliminate the violations by August 17, 2026. It should be noted that the construction of the duplicate is being carried out under a concession agreement concluded in 2023. The length of the highway exceeds 12.3 km, and it includes the second, third, and fourth phases. The cost of the project is 64.4 billion rubles, and the construction period is 4.5 years. Currently, the readiness of the second and third phases is estimated at 57%. The implementation of the fourth phase is planned to begin after attracting federal co-financing.
