      On August 4, 2026, at 16:49, Incidents. Footage has emerged online capturing the moment of a fatal car accident involving a 9-year-old cyclist in a residential complex in Nizhny Novgorod. The video was published in the community "Residential Complex Nova Kuznechikha | Residential Complex Kuznechikha City" on VK.

      Recall that the tragedy occurred in the afternoon of August 4 near house No. 6 on Novokuznechikhinskaya Street. According to the State Traffic Inspectorate, a 19-year-old girl was behind the wheel of the Kia car.

      The recording shows that the boy on the bicycle crossed the roadway without yielding to the vehicle that had the right of way. The child looked to the sides but did not stop before entering the road at an improper place. The Kia driver, judging by the footage, did not manage to brake in time.

      The child died from his injuries before the ambulance crew arrived. Currently, the State Traffic Inspectorate employees continue to establish all the circumstances of the accident.
